Well this is one Volunteers fan thoughts after watching the first game, and it is of my mind that Phil would be of more use as a game show host than as a head football coach.

The Labor Day game was an embarrassment to the SEC, and just when we were getting some of the respect the conference deserves. Then here comes Phil out to the west coast with his super hyped offense, overrated and under trained team.

Maybe if Phil would take some time out of his PR schedule, and actually work on coaching we could beat an  non-ranked team every once and a while. He should have been fired and had his last season after last year's saga, but he had a bunch of his buddies take out a ad in the newspaper begging for his job. Pathetic.

While the rest of the SEC get top ranked, hard working coaches that care if their team wins, we are stuck with you. Do UT a favor Phil and RESIGN.

P.S. I think you might be a little late for The Price Is Right, but then again Drew Carey might coach football better than you!
