Canadiens-Stars: Habs Completely Dominated
Icon Sports MediaThe Montreal Canadiens haven't won a game on December 23rd since 1945.

Mike Ribeiro and the Dallas Stars helped keep the curse alive Sunday, as Ribeiro scored a goal and added two assists in a 4-1 Dallas victory.

The Habs were playing their second game in two nights, and didn't put up much of a fight. Dallas controlled the game from start to finish.

With Montreal down 4-0, Andrei Markov's ninth goal of the season saved the Habs from a shutout.

The Habs are 0-10-8 on December 23rd since 1945. They'll need to be better than they have been in the last few years to snap the streak.

Montreal GM Bob Gainey must kick himself when he sees Mike Ribeiro perform like he did yesterday. Ribeiro was shipped out of Montreal for Janne Niinimaa, a player who's not even playing in the NHL anymore.

Nice going Bob.

Next up for Montreal: a date with Vincent Lecavalier and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
