OK, what happens if Oregon State somehow pulls the upset and beats Oregon? What happens if Steve Spurrier comes up with a game plan to stop Auburn's Cam Newton?

Is No. 3 TCU automatically getting into the national championship game in that scenario? The ESPN experts are saying TCU can play with any team in the country. I agree.

That doesn't mean they should.

I've made this argument all year in the case of a one-loss SEC champion, but, really, how can you give TCU a shot after the schedule the Horned Frogs have played versus a schedule that a Stanford and Wisconsin have played?
