Wimps.  Nitpickers. That’s what they are.

Most Constant Complainers about the Florida Gators, the Texas Longhorns and the Alabama Crimson Tide et al are a bunch of weak-kneed, panty-waisted defeatist.  I wouldn’t want any one of the never-say-win losers on my team if we were playing two-handed touch against a bunch of one-armed eighty-year old women.  They remind me of France – all talk, no action, let-me-raise-my-hands in defeat, underachieving belly-aching whiners that wouldn’t know how to put on a jockstrap.  They don’t have a clue as to what it takes to overcome the kind of adversity those teams faces day in and day out.  They surely think they know, though; they criticize and moan and groan like they could score a touchdown at any time against any team no matter what when most of them couldn’t score sex at a hooker’s convention.

Yeah, yeah, I know.  Bad play calling, poor execution and stupid mistakes need to be eliminated.  Well, so do a few folks I know but it ain’t going to happen.  It’s part of life. Nobody’s perfect except Bo Derek in her day, and some are less perfect than others (see: The Quotable Les Miles) but we should learn how to deal with our own shortcomings before lambasting a team made up mostly of teenagers, most playing only for an education.  They aren’t superstars on the field but they do know how to juggle practice time with study time with social time with not-enough sleep time.  Most of us in the real world can’t juggle two oranges and an apple.   I know that complaining is a way to vent and let off steam; but for the worst amongst them, it borders on the psychotic.

There are some football programs, i.e. Michigan, USC, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee that have a right to complain.  They’re either a shell of their former selves or, in the case of Auburn, a shell of whatever they think they were but never really were.  They have a right to complain about their programs and the coaches that are paid well for what they do, but not about the players that lay it on the line day after day after day.

There needs to be a line drawn somewhere.  Voice your opinion, state your case and then shut your pie hole.  Nobody likes a whiner, not even your friends that put up with you for some unknown reason.

Yes, I am complaining about those that complain so there is a bit of irony here.  That doesn’t make me France however and there is at least one difference between what I’m doing and what the Constant Complainers do.  I’ll make my points and leave.

And, I was just kidding about Les Miles.  He isn’t the stuffed shirt that some coaches are….

Y’all have a nice day.
