BCS Bowl Projections: Sugar Bowl 2011 Participant: Ohio State Buckeyes
Another part of the three-headed Big Ten shared championship this year, I think Ohio State is destined for a spot in the Sugar Bowl in the Superdome in New Orleans.
The Buckeyes wrapped up a strong season with a convincing win over Michigan in their annual rivalry game this weekend, and they stand behind only Wisconsin as the class of a tough Big Ten conference. If mayhem reigns in the final week of BCS rankings, seeing a loss for one or both of Auburn and Oregon, then it's possible Ohio State could move up to the Rose Bowl and a date with TCU.
But that seems like a long shot at this point, and a berth in the Sugar Bowl is nothing to scoff at.
