Eric Stall's Time to Shine With Carolina Hurricanes

Though I have no real hard evidence to back up my gut feeling, to me this is a year where Carolina's star forward is going to shine brightest. On a team starting to face mediocrity, Eric Stall has the chance to become the Hurricanes' knight in shining armor.

The way the last two seasons have ended for the Hurricanes can not have left a great taste in this all-star's mouth.

Eric Stall is one of the most talented players in the Eastern Conference and now is the time to take this team over from an aging Rod Brind'Amour. Stall needs to drive the bus rather than be a passenger.

In my opinion, this is going to happen in a big way this year. Look for Eric to put up over 100 points and emerge as maybe a Lady Byng and Hart trophy finalist.
