BCS Projections Week 14: No. 1 Oregon Ducks Still On Top
BCS Projections Week 14 How They Got Here: The Oregon Ducks have won every game on their schedule, and when I say "won," I mean "dominated."
Aside from a close call with Cal two weeks ago, the Ducks have defeated every opponent by at least 11 points. They beat three ranked opponents and the Cal Bears even had to fake injuries to keep from becoming exhausted against such a fast-paced offense.
Why No. 1: Because the Oregon Ducks are the best team in the country. They crushed an excellent Stanford team, and they have scored over 50 points in six games this season.
Staying Power: The Ducks' only remaining opponent is Oregon State, and judging by how the Beavers played against Stanford this weekend, the Ducks shouldn't have a problem winning this game.
But if the Beavers can pull off a miracle upset, we could see the Ducks tumble pretty far in the BCS rankings to end the season.
Even though anything can happen in this rivalry, the Ducks won't lose this one.
