BCS Projections Week 14: No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes Take Advantage of Boise Loss
BCS Projections Week 14 How They Got Here: The Ohio State Buckeyes were the No. 2 team in the country until the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the South Carolina GameCocks mid-season. Then the Buckeyes took over the No. 1 spot for one week until falling to the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Buckeyes were sent tumbling down college football rankings, but they have worked their way back up.
Why No. 6: Ohio State hasn't lost a game since that beating at Camp Randall, and the Buckeyes defeated the Michigan Wolverines once again on Saturday afternoon. Both the Boise State Broncos and the LSU Tigers took hits this weekend, and the Buckeyes will be one of the main teams to benefit from their losses.
Staying Power: Ohio State will probably stay put in the rankings for the rest of the season, and if the rankings remain the same, we will likely see them take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in this season's Sugar Bowl.
