BCS Projections Week 14: No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners Win in Bedlam Game
BCS Projections Week 14 How They Got Here: The Oklahoma Sooners found themselves ranked No.1 in the first BCS standings this season, but they soon dropped as they lost to the Missouri Tigers the very next weekend.
Another loss to the Texas A&M Aggies had the Sooners looking pretty rough as they prepared for their final three games.
Why No. 10: But a win against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in this year's "Bedlam" game will likely give the Sooners a shot at the Big 12 title game in one last matchup against their rival Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Even though the Cowboys were ranked higher before this game, I expect the Sooners to pass them up and move into the BCS top 10.
Staying Power: If the Sooners can pull off the win and take the Big 12 Championship, we will see them move further up the top 10 and play in a BCS bowl game—probably the Fiesta Bowl against the Stanford Cardinal.
