BCS Projections Week 14: No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys Lose in Bedlam

BCS Projections How They Got Here: The Oklahoma State Cowboys had such a great season that it was hard to believe that this team wouldn't represent the Big 12 South in the conference title game.

With their only loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Cowboys had gone undefeated in the Big 12 South, and they seemed like a shoe-in for the Big 12 Championship and a BCS bowl.

Why No. 12: But then the Oklahoma Sooners came to town. In what was quite possibly the best game of the season, the Sooners upset the Cowboys and will likely replace Oklahoma State as the Big 12 South representative in the title game. The Cowboys will fall a couple spots after the loss.

Staying Power: The Cowboys shouldn't move much before the end of the season, but there is still a slight chance that they could play in the title game.

Unlikely, but there is a chance.
