BCS Projections Week 14 How They Got Here: The Virginia Tech Hokies started this season 0-2 after a big loss to Boise State and...James Madison?

But the Hokies bounced back and rolled through their ACC schedule to finish the regular season 10-2, and they will compete with Florida State in the ACC title game.

Why No. 15: The Hokies will move up a spot this week after they beat up on Virginia. Virginia Tech looks like the best team in the ACC right now, and they deserve a spot in the top 15.

Staying Power: Unfortunately for the Hokies, I am predicting an upset by the Florida State Seminoles in the ACC title game. But even a loss in the championship won't drop Virginia Tech too far in the BCS standings.

They may not play in a BCS bowl game, but they will remain in the top 20 of the standings.
