Big 12 Championship Game: Who Will Join Nebraska Cornhuskers?
Big 12 Championship Game: Which Team Will Compete with Nebraska for the Big 12 Title?
The Nebraska Cornhuskers just secured their spot in the Big 12 Championship Game after tonight's win over Colorado.
The Huskers had some troubles this season as they lost to a mediocre Texas Longhorns team and the much stronger Texas A&M Aggies, but they held onto the top of the Big 12-North and will prepare for next week's big game.
The problem here is they don't know which Big 12-South team will join them!
Tomorrow, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will host the Oklahoma Sooners, and an Oklahoma State win will send the Cowboys to the title game.
But if the Oklahoma Sooners win, three teams will be tied for the top of the Big 12-South.
Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M will all have 6-2 records, and then some weird tie-breaking rules will come into play.
BCS standings could be the deciding factor, and the Sooners may have the best shot if they beat the Cowboys...even though they lost to the Aggies.
I know it's weird, folks, but they have to make the decision somehow.
