76. The New Jersey Institute of Technology's Attempt to Win a Game
NJIT couldn't win a game in the 2007-2008 season, but with a new coach and a more mature team, that could change soon.
The Highlanders' situation gives college basketball fans two things to root for. They can choose to root against NJIT and see how long they can really go without winning or they can root for NJIT to get off the side and win a game.
77. Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is good. Plain and simple. He's the best pure scorer in college basketball on what's now of America's favorite underdogs: the Davidson Wildcats.
He should lead his team back to the NCAA Tournament where he's averaged over 30 points a game including the two 40 points he dropped in last year's tournament.
78. Kenny George
America's favorite big man will be back in action for one more season of towering of his opponents with his 7'8'' frame. He can dunk without leaving his feet and blocks almost one-out-every-five two-point shots the opposing team takes when he's on the floor.
The premier early season college basketball tournament will once again feature two of the best teams in the country. Notre Dame and UNC headline the tournament and could face each other in the Maui Invitational final.
While UNC is the hands down number one team in the country entering the 2008-2009 season, there are seven more teams (four from the Big East) that will challenge the Tar Heels with absolutely stacked rosters.
Notre Dame, UCONN, Pitt, Louisville, Duke, Oklahoma, and Purdue all have the talent, the coaching, and the experience to steamroll through their schedule.
