It has been a pretty big week in the WWE. Firing people left and right it seems. One guy should be so lucky to still have a job in WWE though; not a good week to drink and drive Alex Riley.
Alex Riley's Career Saved By The Miz
Apparently WWE did not cut newcomer Alex Riley. His on-air association with The Miz saved him from being let go following his arrest for driving under the influence last Wednesday in Tampa, Fla.
I am glad that at least out of someone the WWE fired they didn't lose a great future asset to the company. WWE has not yet worked out a punishment for Riley.
Tiffany Believes Someone Was "Out To Get" Husband Drew McIntyre in August Hotel Incident.
Tiffany was recently asked in an interview about what happened in the "hotel incident" that led to her being arrested and then suspended indefinitely by WWE. She had this to say.
"Somebody had an axe to grind with my husband and it was absolutely ridiculous. It was a misunderstanding. It was just someone that was trying to screw with my husband and it was really, really crummy of them to do that.
It was unfortunate, it was really blown out of proportion. People got, like, two sentences of detail and they turned into this entire story. My husband and I love each other dearly and we have an extremely healthy relationship. [...] If that did have a part in me losing my job with WWE, it's really sad that somebody did that to us.
Should WWE look elsewhere for writers?
[...] I just want people to know my husband and I are great and we have a wonderful relationship and nothing bad has ever happened between the two of us."
WWE Looking For New Writers From Hollywood
When the WWE went on the spree of firings they also fired six creative writers. It is said that they are looking for new guys from Hollywood.
The question I want to know is why? Why get them from Hollywood. I have read only a portion of stuff from this website that absolutely ruled. If a website like this can generate good stuff (all of it being PG of course) why can't they find some guys elsewhere because as we have seen, Hollywood just isn't working.
