BCS Standings: The holiday will sort out some things ... or will it?
The holiday week brings some huge games on the schedule.
On Black Friday, it's No. 2 Auburn at No. 11 Alabama, No. 21 Arizona at No. 1 Oregon and No. 4 Boise State at No. 19 Nevada.
On Saturday, it's No. 5 LSU at No. 12 Arkansas and No. 13 Oklahoma at No. 9 Oklahoma State.
I believe Alabama beats Auburn, Oregon beats Arizona, Boise State wins, LSU goes down at Arkansas and Oklahoma slips past Oklahoma State.
But what does that do? There's still controversy because if Auburn comes back and wins the SEC title against South Carolina the following week it's awfully hard to keep a one-loss SEC champion out of the title game compared to a TCU or Boise State.
Then again, I suspect fans of Wisconsin and Ohio State might be saying the same thing.
Stanford? Sorry Cardinal fans -- you already lost to Oregon.
