Wisconsin vs Michigan: No John Clay, No Problem for Badgers?
For the second straight week, Wisconsin will be without superstar RB John Clay with an MCL injury, meaning we will see a lot of Montee Ball and James White.
But for Wisconsin, it might not matter who is at running back for them against a Michigan defense that is No. 10 in rushing defense, giving up 163.7 yards per game on the ground.
It might help that DT Mike Martin, one of Michigan's best linemen, is active for Rich Rodriguez's squad and will play.
The key for Wisconsin though will be to establish Scott Tolzien and try to force Michigan's defense to respect the pass which will make the run much more effective.
If he cannot pass well, Michigan might have a good chance to pull off the upset.
But if Greg Robinson's defense can't make Wisconsin one-dimensional, it will be a long day for the Wolverines' defense because they will need to take pressure off a banged-up Denard Robinson and the Michigan offense.
