NFL Picks Week 11: Who Comes Out on Top this Week?
With another NFL Sunday just around the corner, it's time to start making some picks for Week 11's upcoming games.
We already saw the Chicago Bears shut out the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, and the rest of this week's matchups will be just as intense.
So can the Cincinnati Bengals end their losing streak as they host the Buffalo Bills?
Will the Dallas Cowboys start a winning streak against the Detroit Lions?
And who will win the battle for the top of the NFC East as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Giants?
Read on for my predictions.

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the Chargers Add Another Win on Monday Night?
Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers
Favorite: Chargers at -10
Take the Points: It has been pretty easy to pick against the Denver Broncos lately after that ridiculous 59-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders, but the Broncos are still the second-best passing team in the NFL.
You can talk about Tim Tebow all you want, but Kyle Orton is the one putting up all those passing yards for the Broncos. Yes, the Denver Broncos are very good through the air.
But take a guess at which team is No. 1 in passing.
You guessed it!
The San Diego Chargers.
Even though the Chargers are third in the AFC West, Philip Rivers is one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL.
This game will be high-scoring, but it will also be much closer than we think.
Predicted Score: Broncos 31, Chargers 38

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the New York Giants Stop Michael Vick and the Eagles?
New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Favorite: Eagles at -3
Give the Points: Until Michael Vick gives me a reason to pick against the Eagles, I will continue to back this team.
We all saw what happened when the Eagles visited the Redskins on Monday night, and while I don't expect this game to be as high-scoring, I do expect the Eagles to get the win.
Michael Vick has only played in six games this season, but he still has 11 touchdown completions and four rushing touchdowns, and is there something I'm missing?
Oh yeah...
Zero interceptions.
Vick has emerged as a true leader of this Philadelphia offense, and he has some serious chemistry with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.
The Eagles handled the Redskins, and they will handle the Giants on Sunday night.
Predicted Score: Giants 21, Eagles 35

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the Colts Stop the Dominant Patriots?
Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots
Favorite: Patriots at -4
Take the Points: The New England Patriots have been looking like the best team in the NFL since they handled the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday night, and they seem to have recovered from that devastating loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 9.
On the other side of the field, the Indianapolis Colts are banged up all over the place, and quarterback Peyton Manning has had some very limited targets on offense.
But this game is shaping up to be my Big Upset of the Week.
It may seem like a long-shot, but the Colts still lead the league in passing.
And their defense (especially their secondary) looks pretty solid as well.
The Patriots secondary, on the other hand, provides Manning with an extremely favorable matchup...no matter who he throws the ball to.
Predicted Score: Colts 27, Patriots 24

NFL Picks Week 11: Are the Seattle Seahawks the Real Deal?
Seattle Seahawks at New Orleans Saints
Favorite: Saints at -11.5
Take the Points: I could understand giving the Saints 11.5 points at home if they were playing, say, the Carolina Panthers...
But the Seattle Seahawks are a very good football team.
The New Orleans Saints have tapped back into their magic from last season, and their win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8 proved that this team is back in action.
The Saints' passing defense is second to none, but Drew Brees hasn't looked like himself all season.
The Seahawks play my favorite kind of football: Scrappy.
This Seattle team may not look so hot on paper, but for some reason they keep on winning. I've been saying this since Week 1...
Keep your eye on the Seattle Seahawks.
I expect New Orleans to defeat Seattle, but it will be a much closer game than we think.
Predicted Score: Seahawks 21, Saints 28

NFL Picks Week 11: Is There Still Hope For the San Francisco 49ers?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
Favorite: 49ers at -3.5
Take the Points: At the beginning of the season, I was all set to jump on the San Francisco 49ers bandwagon. They looked good to me on paper, but they just couldn't produce on the field.
Still, Troy Smith seems to be the right call at quarterback as the Niners are 2-0 with the former Buckeye starting under center.
But the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a big surprise this season and the Tampa Bay secondary should keep Smith from getting much done through the air.
They key for the Niners will be to establish a strong rushing game early and take advantage of the holes in the Bucs' defense.
Frank Gore is due for a good game after the St. Louis Rams kept him to 87 yards last week.
The Niners will get the win but not by more than a field goal.
Predicted Score: Buccaneers 21, 49ers 24

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the St. Louis Rams Stop the Atlanta Falcons?
Atlanta Falcons at St. Louis Rams
Favorite: Falcons at -3
Give the Points: The St. Louis Rams are significantly better than they were last season, and Sam Bradford seems like just what the Rams needed.
But there's this other team...I don't know if you've heard of them.
They call themselves the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons are at the top of one of the strongest divisions in the NFC, and they have had some huge wins over some serious competition.
Atlanta will be coming off a nice long rest after the Falcons' clutch victory over the Baltimore Ravens, and they will be healthy and ready to go against the Rams.
St. Louis has the home field advantage, but then again, the Falcons went on the road and defeated both the New Orleans Saints and the Cleveland Browns.
Predicted Score: Falcons 31, Rams 24

NFL Picks Week 11: Will the Cowboys Redeem Themselves Against Lions?
Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys
Favorite: Cowboys at -6
Give the Points: As much as I love rooting for the Detroit Lions this season, the Dallas Cowboys seem to have found that "team identity" they have been looking for.
Maybe the 'Boys needed to get rid of Wade Phillips (or perhaps Tony Romo) in order to get it together this season.
Whatever the problem was, the Cowboys definitely figured it out against the New York Giants last Sunday.
As for the Lions, I really feel sorry for this team. They have all kinds of young talent, but they can't seem to stay healthy long enough to put it to good use.
Matthew Stafford has only played in three games this season, and the Lions could really use him right about now.
After that big win over the New York Giants, I expect history to repeat itself for the Dallas Cowboys this week.
Predicted Score: Lions 17, Cowboys 31

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the Panthers Avoid a Stomping From the Ravens?
Baltimore Ravens at Carolina Panthers
Favorite: Ravens at -11
Take the Points: Okay, so the Panthers are pretty awful this season, but they should be able to stay with the Ravens for most of this game.
The Panthers' secondary should be able to shut down Anquan Boldin, and the Ravens will find themselves running the ball even more than usual. Carolina is ranked No. 5 against the pass, so Joe Flacco will have quite a bit of trouble connecting with his favorite target.
With both of these teams having pretty solid defenses, this game will come down to some down and dirty ground attack. This is why I am predicting big games for both Ray Rice and Willis McGahee.
I expect Baltimore to get the win, but the Panthers will put up more of a fight than we think.
Predicted Score: Ravens 21, Panthers 17

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the Vikings Salvage Their Season Against the Packers?
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
Favorite: Packers at -3
Give the Points: Can someone please explain to me what the hell has happened to the Minnesota Vikings this season?
I've heard all this talk regarding the Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger fiasco and how Favre is so great at compartmentalizing blah blah blah...
Well, I call shenanigans!
Brett Favre has 16 interceptions on the season.
16! As in one-six!
And I'm supposed to believe that he has been able to put all of his off-field drama out of his mind?
Please.
The Packers went on the road and shut out the New York Jets, and then they completely destroyed the Dallas Cowboys.
You know...the same Dallas Cowboys that the Vikings only beat by three points?
The Packers will win this one easily.
Predicted Score: Packers 24, Vikings 17

NFL Picks Week 11: Will Donovan McNabb Prove His Worth Against the Titans?
Favorite: Titans at -7
Give the Points: What can I say? I'm a sucker for the Titans this season. They may have lost two games in a row, but I still have high expectations for this team.
But I was also pretty high on the Redskins up until a couple weeks ago, so this pick is pretty hard for me as well.
Unfortunately for Washington, the Redskins simply will not be able to stop Chris Johnson and the Titans' ground attack.
During the Washington's last game, the Redskins allowed Philadelphia Eagles running back Jerome Harrison to rush for 109 yards on 11 carries for a touchdown, and Chris Johnson will likely produce even more than that.
Plus, the Redskins will be coming off a short week and a miserable performance against the Eagles.
Predicted Score: Redskins 21, Titans 31

NFL Picks Week 11: Can the Houston Texans Upset the New York Jets?
Favorite: Jets at -7
Give The Points: This is a tough one for me.
At the beginning of the season, I really wanted to root for the Houston Texans.
I tried. I really did.
But the Texans have lost three games in a row, and they are now at the bottom of the AFC South.
And things won't get easier against the New York Jets.
The Jets are at the top of one of the strongest divisions in the NFL, and they have pulled off some very nice wins over some very strong teams.
Mark Sanchez may be a bit banged up, but (as much as it pains me to admit it) he is looking better by the week at the helm of the Jets' offense.
Unless the Houston Texans take a crash course in defense before Sunday, they won't stand a chance against the Gang Green.
Predicted Score: Texans 17, Jets 27

NFL Picks Week 11: Will The Browns Impress Us Again Against The Jags?
Favorite: Jaguars at -1.5
Take the Points: Okay, I understand that the Jags have won two games in a row, and I understand that sometimes it can be difficult for people to give the Cleveland Browns very much credit...
But really?
With the way the Browns have been playing lately, this should be no contest.
Sure, we were all impressed with David Garrard's Hail Mary touchdown pass to Mike Thomas, but let's also keep in mind that this pass was against one of the weakest secondaries in the NFL.
The Cleveland Browns have defeated both the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots.
Who has Jacksonville played again?
The Broncos? The Bills? The Cowboys?
In fact, the Jags' most impressive win was over a banged-up Indianapolis Colts team.
As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, I never thought I would become such a Browns-backer, but here I am. This Cleveland team is the real deal, and they will smoke the Jags.
Predicted Score: Browns 27, Jaguars 13

NFL Picks Week 11: Will Cardinals Hand Chiefs a Third Straight Loss?
Favorite: Chiefs at -8
Give the Points: The Kansas City Chiefs started this season with a bang, but a Week 5 loss to the Indianapolis Colts seemed to have taken quite a bit of wind out of their sails.
Last week, the Chiefs lost big time to the Denver Broncos, and they will be hungry for a win.
And now with the Oakland Raiders playing much better than expected this season, the Chiefs have fallen to the No. 2 spot in the AFC West. If Kansas City wants a to remain atop the division, the Chiefs will need a win here.
So what about the Cardinals?
Well this team hasn't won a game since that Week 5 upset over the New Orleans Saints, and they don't exactly have a star quarterback.
I expect this game to be no problem for the Chiefs.
Predicted Score: Cardinals 17, Chiefs 31
Matthew Stockman/Getty Images
NFL Picks Week 11: Will Raiders Use Momentum Against Steelers?
Favorite: Steelers at -7.5
Take the Points: The Oakland Raiders will be coming off three wins and a bye when they visit Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers, on the other hand, suffered a tough loss to the New England Patriots last Sunday, which left this team even more banged-up than it was before.
That being said, the Raiders rely on their rushing offense, and the Steelers still have the best defense in the league against the ground attack.
The Raiders have an excellent passing defense, but the Steelers may be playing a more conservative passing game to take it easy on Hines Ward after his concussion.
If the Steelers utilize running back Rashard Mendenhall early and often during this game, they should get the win at home.
No matter what, this is the Must Watch Game of the Weekend!
Predicted Final Score: Raiders 24, Steelers 28
Andy Lyons/Getty Images
NFL Picks Week 11: Will Bengals End Losing Streak Against Bills?
Favorite: Bengals at -6
Take the Points: The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season, and they will be looking to end their six-game losing streak as they host the Buffalo Bills.
And if the Bengals want another win this season, this game will give them their best shot.
Why?
Because the rest of the Bengals' schedule is brutal: At the Jets, vs. the Saints, at Pittsburgh, etc.
But will Cincinnati get the win?
The Buffalo Bills are coming off their first win of the season, and they have been playing some pretty close games against some pretty good teams.
I'll give the Bengals the win, but I'd take the points.
Predicted Final Score: Bills 23, Bengals 27
