Aussie Rugby Star Quits After Dog Sex Photo Goes Global

Rugby league star, Joel Monaghan, has quit the Canberra Raiders after a photo of him "simulating sex with a dog" was circulated on a social networking site on the Internet.

The Aussie rugby player from Down Under has said he will try and find a club in England to play for and to get out of the spotlight.

It appears that he and a few friends went out for a drink on the night it happened. When he returned back to his home, very drunk, he fell on the floor.

That's when to dog came oer to see him, and..."lick his bone.

Monaghan broke down in a press conference while delivering his statement, but was able to say, "They’re my actions and I’m totally responsible."

"I’ll have to handle the jokes and taunts, which is understandable, but the players shouldn't have to put up with pressure my ongoing presence will bring."

There has been rumors that he is having talks with Harlequins, but they say that they have had "no direct contact" with him.

He may even join his older brother, Michael, who plays for Warrington Wolves in the British Super League.

He can run away from the taunts from Australia, but the English may have some jokes they want to get out.
