This list shouldn't be hard to begin, so I will start off by getting all the disclaimer out of the way.

This is purely about the 10 best women playing in sports at the moment.

Take this as you may, but I'm extremely excited about this and it should be a great list.

Sit down.

Buckle up.

And most importantly, enjoy the ride.

10. Shawn Johnson

I thought the best way to start this list was with two little adorable girls who are just so cute.

First is Shawn Johnson.

She is a gymnast for the U.S. National Team and frankly just a sweetie pie.

9. Sasha Cohen

No. 2 of the adorable girls is Miss Sasha Cohen.

How can you say no to that face?

8. Julia Mancuso

Julia Mancuso is a member of the U.S. Women's Skiing team, and frankly, with her face, who wouldn't want her on any team?

7. Serena Williams

Serena Williams.

'Nuff said.

6. Ana Ivanovic

Women's tennis has provided us with many notable beauties over the years, but Ana Ivanovic is one that will last in our minds for a while.

Can't argue with those moves on the court.

Go Ana!

5. Gretchen Bleiler

Representing the United States in the women's snowboard competitions is this lovely lady.

I feel we are safe with Miss Bleiler.

4. Lindsey Vonn

This U.S. skier is a heralded medalist in the Olympics and a hottie—who knew?

3. Gina Carano

The women's UFC Fighter will kick you if you try to pull a move on her, literally!

Carano is one of the most beautiful girls in the sports world as well as one of the strongest.

The one drawback is that she is so intimidating, but that shouldn't be enough to scare guys away.

2. Maria Sharapova

Miss Sharapova comes up just short of ranking No.1, but she is still a winner in our books.

Anyone could tell you that she belonged on this list mostly because her stunning beauty has been gracing the tennis court for the past few years.

Graceful and classy.

And now to No.1...

1. Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick is the creme de la creme.

The apple of the eye.

The silver spoon.

This woman is the essence of beauty in the sports world.

Plain and simple.
