Philadelphia Phillies To Add Carlos Quentin to Corner Outfield?

The Philadelphia Phillies are interested in trading for right-handed corner outfielder Carlos Quentin, says ESPN's Jason Stark. According to Stark, the Phillies have laid extensive groundwork for a deal with the White Sox to make a deal.

While Chicago has said they are not shopping the 28-year-old, many times teams will make statements like that to drive the price up for the player. With Jayson Werth a long shot to return, the Phillies are exploring other right handed bats to offset Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, and Raul Ibanez. Many expect Domonic Brown to start in right field...
