Week 11 in the NFL season means it's getting dangerously close to fantasy football playoff time.

From here on out every game matters.  If you lose one or two games in a row early, no problem, there's time to catch up.  Now time not on your side, you don't have the luxury to play the high potential player who could just as easily get you three points.

In the game of football, you must take the "win the play, win the game" approach.  In fantasy football, you must think, "win the position, win the game".

Each player is crucial to the final outcome.

At this point of the season, your team may be as out of contention for a playoff spot as the Buffalo Bills, but if you're still in the race, here are some suggestions you must consider:

Sit Matt Schaub

Schaub has taken a step back this season.  After a hot start, the Texans have lost three straight games.

Against a strong New York Jets defense, I wouldn't trust my fantasy playoff hopes in Schaub as my starting quarterback,

Sit Randy Moss

That photo was taken a split second before Moss got lit up and dropped the ball.

He definitely didn't have a day to remember last Sunday.  He was used as a decoy during the vast majority of the game.

Going up against the NFL's leader in interceptions DeAngelo Hall, don't expect Moss to get many looks this week either.

Sit Darren McFadden

Darren McFadden is having a career year.

If you have drafted him in the past and have him now, you're probably too hyped to bench him.  He's actually producing for you this season after years of failure.

The Raiders are going up against the Steelers and their vaunted front seven.  The Steelers' defense is the running back's version of going up against a shut down cornerback for a wide receiver.

McFadden will get shut down like every other back.

Sit The Giants Defense

Yes, they've been amazing all year long, but "what have you done for me lately" really pulls the trigger for this benching.

It's not just the fact that the Cowboys put up 33 points on the Giants last week, it's that Monday night the Eagles scored 59 points on the Redskins at Washington.

Michael Vick alone had six touchdowns and over 400 yards of total offense.  That's not a player you want to go up against right now.

Start Cedrick Benson

Yes, he's having a horrible season, but every running back's horrible season has one bright spot: when they get to play the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills have the worst run defense in the NFL surrendering a whopping 166.9 yards a game.

Cedric Benson hasn't practiced yet this week.  If he can't go, start Bernard Scott instead.

Start Joe Flacco

Carolina's secondary isn't pathetic like the a majority of their squad.  Then why is Joe Flacco a must start?

That beastly Baltimore defense is going to force a ton of three and outs against a lethargic Carolina offense.

Flacco's going to have more than enough opportunities to light up the Panthers defense.

Start Colt McCoy

CLEVELAND - NOVEMBER 14: Quarterback Colt McCoy #12 of the Cleveland Browns throws to a receiver against the New York Jets at Cleveland Browns Stadium on November 14, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Matt Sullivan/Getty Images)

If Colt McCoy can put up solid numbers against the stacked Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets defenses, just think what he can do when he faces the Jaguars 29th ranked pass defense Sunday.

This match-up has "career high" written all over it.

Start The Bears Defense

The Bears' defense is going up against a Miami Dolphins' offense that is starting its third string quarterback who has had very little time to prepare and is without his Pro Bowl left tackle protecting his blindside.

That one sentence perfectly sums up why the Bears defense is a must start this week.

Hurry up, there's only a few hours until kickoff.
