Eva Longoria Tony Parker Divorce Rumor: A Look Back at their Paris Wedding
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were once thought of as a perfect couple. But their marriage may be coming to an end.
Early Tuesday, November 16, reports from TMZ said that Tony Parker filed for divorce at a Bexar County courthouse. However, Longoria's representatives denied that the couple were splitting, saying that Parker did not even have a divorce attorney.
As a successful actress and basketball star, Longoria and Parker married in July 2007 in Paris.
The couple officially wed in a civil ceremony, as required by French law, at a courthouse near Notre Dame. A church wedding and a big reception followed the next day.
"They are married. They were married here by the Mayor of Paris, Monsieur Bertrand Delanoë," a spokesperson for the 4th Arrondissement district told People magazine in 2007. "Their international reputations cannot escape me—but for me they are just Eva and Tony—two young people, very appealing, who love each other and who are at a very important moment in their life."
There were reportedly over 1,000 people who greeted and cheered the new couple after their court ceremony.
