Lamar Odom: MRI Comes Back Negative on Injured Foot
Lamar Odom and the Los Angeles Lakers got some good news on Monday as an MRI on Odom's injured right foot came back negative and Odom was diagnosed with a bone bruise.
Odom has had a great start this year, averaging a double-double with 15.1 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. The bone bruise isn't expected to keep the forward out of the lineup tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Odom is a big key to the Lakers' success with his versatility and how many positions he can play out on the court. Keeping him in the lineup is huge for the Lakers, especially since big man Theo Ratliff is going to be out for some time as he'll need surgery on his sore left knee.
Ratliff isn't a huge contributor, but he did give Los Angeles some decent size off the bench.
