As we cheer for our teams, I hope my fellow fans at Bleacher Report will recall this extraordinary anniversary, when four decades ago, we lost a lot of very young people with all the promise in the world.

It's a little late in the day, but ESPN Classic had the remembrance.  I forgot, but I promise to never forget again.  I am not a Marshall fan, but I am a fan of humanity.  And I think we all ought to recall these young lives lost, but remembered, always and from now on.
