Marquice Cole has been a key cog on special teams this season for the Jets.

He has covered kicks with aplomb, doing a nice job downing punts as a gunner on the punt-coverage team.

He is out for their game against the Browns, which could pose a problem for the Jets covering the great Joshua Cribbs.

Joe McKnight is active in his place, but expect to see rookie Kyle Wilson take over as the primary gunner.

Either way, in a game that figures to be close, no Cole could be a major hit to the Jets' punt coverage.
