Tom Brady: Felt Like Worst QB In the World After Pats Loss to Browns in Week 9
The New England Patriots got upset by Cleveland Browns last week, losing by 20 points in Week 9 of the 2010 NFL season. As a result, Tom Brady was upset.
"You lose a game in Cleveland and you think you're the worst quarterback in the world," he told NBC's Bob Costas. "You couldn't lead the team to victory. That's pretty motivating right there."
Brady, in fact, played relatively well in that game as he threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns while posting a 90.5 passer rating.
Nonetheless, it's clear why a competitor like Brady would be disappointed with his performance.
Brady and the Patriots will have an opportunity to redeem themselves tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It'll be interesting to see how the extra motivation truly affects him.
The full interview will broadcast during NBC's Football Night in America pregame show.
