NFL Week 10 Picks: Jacksonville Jaguars Kicker Josh Scobee Will Be Busy
Two teams that don't do much in the way of defending playing in an important divisional game means that the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars could very well combine for a high volume of points in Week 10. Aside from the obvious beneficiaries, like Maurice-Jones Drew, Andre Johnson, Matt Schaub, etc., another important player that should thrive in Week 10 is the Jacksonville Jaguars' kicker, Josh Scobee.
Scobee has been extremely accurate when given chances to make kicks so far in 2010, displaying impressive range all the way up to his season-long 59 yarder to win against the Indianapolis Colts. He's a perfect 13 for 13 on kick attempts, while also converting all 18 extra points.
I think Jacksonville will approach or surpass 30 points in this game, so Scobee should be a busy man. He's kicking at home so he should be extra comfortable for his attempts, and I expect him to boot a few decently long field goals while chipping in a number of extra points.
