Fantasy Football Week 10, ladies and gentlemen, is now underway.
In case some of you guys missed the memo, we had a Thursday game this week when the Baltimore Ravens played against the Atlanta Falcons.
That means Joe Flacco, Ray Rice and no Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and Roddy White are no longer available, among others.
But not to worry, there's still time to make adjustments that will hopefully lead to a Week 10 win.
This is a "make it or break it" week for people that still looking to lock up playoff berths. So as always, I am here to help.
If you've been following my updates from Week 1, you know I have been battling a season-long dilemma at the quarterback position.
This week, I've added David Garrard to the squad, fresh off a career game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8 but I am also considering a spot-start Vince Young with Randy Moss now a part of his receiving corps.
Who to go with? Garrard or Young?
Stay tuned for an update Sunday morning.
This was easy. Garrard has a sweet matchup this weekend against the Texans.
While Vince Young is not even expected to start.
I am very high on Garrard today and expect him to do very well once. Now I don't think he'll match that 5 total touchdown performance against the G-men in Week 8.
But a 250 passing yard game with 3 total touchdowns is something that I am envisioning.
Let's got Garrard!
Week 9 Highlights
Start 'Em Eli Manning (290 passing yards, 3 TD's)
Sit 'Em Roy Williams (6 receiving yards)
Start 'Em Percy Harvin (126 receiving yards)
Week 9 Lowlights
Start Jacob Tamme (108 receiving yards, 1 TD) over Aaron Hernandez (48 yards, 2 TD's)
Mike Williams-SEA (25 receiving yards) over Steve Breaston (28 receiving yards, 17 passing yards)
Hate Mail of the Week
On my must-start recommendation for Percy Harvin: "I don't think you can call someone who is a game-time decision a "must-start," especially considering he lost the receiver that opened up the secondary the last three weeks. I'm planning on starting Harvin if he's active, but I don't think your reasoning is in line with the reality of the Vikings' situation this week."
I have to believe that Harvin will tough it out today. Unless he's that pissed at Childress.
The guy injured that ankle in his first catch of the game against New England, yet he still kept playing and totaled over 100 receiving yards.
You have believe he'll play when the Vikings have to win in order to have a chance at competing for a playoff spot.
You're right Moss is gone now and Harvin's fantasy value does take a dive but against Arizona, I don't think he'll have problems.
The tandem of LeGarrette Blount, Josh Freeman and Mike Williams just torched them for three touchdowns last week. The combo of Peterson, Favre and Harvin should see similar results.
This list will be updated with Saturday evening/Sunday morning si
t 'em, start 'em recommendations as well as weather and injury news to make sure your fantasy team will be ready this weekend.
