BCS Rankings 2010:

Let's take a look at the upcoming games for the top five teams in college football:

No. 1 Oregon: Today, the Oregon Ducks will travel to take on the California Golden Bears as they attempt to defend their No. 1 spot.

Every week, critics hope that someone will pull off the upset over the Ducks' superior offense, but it has yet to happen this season.

No. 2 Auburn: Probably the toughest matchup in the top five teams will take place at 3:30 p.m. ET today as the Auburn Tigers host the Georgia Bulldogs.

And we will also get a chance to see if the current NCAA scandal surrounding Auburn quarterback Cameron Newton has any effect on his focus during this game.

No. 3 TCU: The Frogs are coming off an impressive victory over the Utah Utes, and today they will host a pretty solid San Diego State team at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Aztecs are 4-1 in their Mountain West schedule, and both of their losses this season have been very close (27-24 Missouri and 24-21 BYU).

No. 4 Boise State: The Broncos absolutely stomped the Idaho Vandals last night in a 52-14 victory, and so far this season, Boise State has been living up to all the hype.

Next week, the Broncos will host the Fresno State Bulldogs who haven't been terrible...

But they don't stand a chance on the Smurf Turf.

No. 5 LSU: Call it luck. Call it magic.

Call it whatever you want, but the Tigers are 8-1 with only one loss to the Auburn Tigers.

Today, LSU will host Louisiana-Monroe, and I just can't bring myself to predict an upset in Death Valley.
