UFC 122 Results: Dennis Siver Defeats Andre Winner
The only lightweight bout of the card gave us our first stoppage of the main card and it was a doozy. England's Andre Winner came out of his corner firing on all cylinders and using his devastating speed/reach combination to stifle Germany's own, Dennis Siver.
But that didn't last as Siver eventually found his range, put Winner on the defensive with his own surprising speed and considerable power, and then finished the thing with a choke on the heels of a counter left that landed Andre's rear on Queer Street.
It might be time to take Siver a bit more seriously—guy's been in the UFC since 2007 and has earned three bonuses in that time, including two Knockouts of the Night and a Fight of the Night in defeat.
Dennis Siver defeats Andre Winner by submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:37 of the first round.
