Tonight the Heat dropped to 5-3 for the season.

Once again they showed a couple of their biggest problems as a team.  They don't know who should take the last shot. And they can't cover top point guards.

For some people this will be another chance to crow. Just like after Boston beat them in the opener.

But the fact is the Heat are still a very good team. It took the red hot New Orleans Hornets to give them a second loss after the opener. And it took the year's biggest comeback to knock them off last night.

The fact is this team has two of the best regular season players in the league and Chris Bosh will still average double digits even without getting fed the ball like when he was in Toronto.

Look for the Heat to rip off another 4 or 5 wins before they get beat again. And I still think they get to 60 or very close by the end of the year.

The big question is if it will be current coach Erik Spoelstra or Pat Riley leading them into the playoffs.

I'd say put your money on the Heat for 60 and Riles on the bench at the end of the year.

I still don't think it gets them past the Eastern Conference finals. But it's a long season.

We'll all have to wait and see.
