Earlier today Nemanja Vidic claimed that he had been misquoted by several British newspapers.
It had been reported that he disliked the rainy conditions in Manchester and was looking for a move to Spain in the near future. He is said to have criticised the people of Manchester for their lifestyle.
The Manchester United defender said that he loved playing for Manchester United, he was very happy being a part of "this great club", and that he would never insult the people of Manchester in this manner.
He admitted that initially it had been difficult for him to adjust to living in Manchester but he had no problems now.
