With their victory against the Tigers on Tuesday, the Tribe has won 9 straight. With lots of run support, Cliff Lee won his 19th game of the year. The probable Cy Young award winner went 8 innings in and is now projected to win 24. In this streak the tribe has averaged 8 runs per game. They just moved into 3rd place with the win and only three games back from the .500 mark. The offence has begun reeling even without Travis Hafner or Victor Martinez. This year the bullpen has been a huge disappointment but has been rock solid lately. Jensen Lewis, the young closer who is 7/7 in save opportunities is getting the Tribe fans exited for next season. With almost every Tribe hitter "hot", fans wait to see Matt Laporta up in the majors. Laporta, the Indians outfield phenom, will not come up from the minors this year according to the Cleveland Indians. Early next year is probable for Laporta.
