Going into tonight's series against the hated Yankees, Manager Terry Francona has to be hoping for a sweep. This has been a long up and down season for the Sox and there fans, with injuries and destraction's playing a major part but it's time to start playing like a playoff team.

If you look at this line-up from top to bottom, and then look at the pitching staff this team should be leading the division and not be struggling to make the playoffs. This series will allow them to make a statement and strike fear into other teams, but if they play a soft series and come up on the losing end they should pack it in and look forward to next season.

I know I will take some flack for this, but the Sox need to win and win big this week!
