Greg CaggianoSenior Writer IAugust 26, 2008

For the first time in Rangers history, and that of Madison Square Garden television, every single New York Rangers' preseason game will be televised—including the final two which are in Switzerland and Russia.

Along with all of the preseason games, MSG will also be televising the first two games of the regular season in Prague against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Schedule:

Preseason

Sat. Sept. 20 at Ottawa 7 p.m.
Mon. Sept 22 Ottawa at MSG 7 p.m.
Tues. Sept.23 at Tampa Bay 7:30 p.m.
Wed. Sept 24 at New Jersey 7 p.m.
Thurs. Sept 25 Tampa at MSG 7 p.m,
Sat. Sept 27 New Jersey at MSG 1 p.m.
Tues. Sept 30 vs. SC Bern 10 a.m.*
Wed. Oct. 1 vs Metallurg Magnitogorsk 1:45 p.m.**

Regular Season

Sat. Oct. 4 vs Tampa in Prague, noon
Sun. Oct 5 vs Tampa in Prague, noon

* Game is in Switzerland, versus S.C Bern

** Game is in Russia versus Metallurg Magnitorsk, the European champ and will be the first of an annual hockey series, called the Victoria Cup championship.

Even though it is only preseason hockey, it is still cause for excitement because hockey is hockey, regardless of how important the games are.
