With training camp in the NHL fast approaching I am going to make my predictions for the NHL's major awards.

Stanley Cup: Detroit Red Wings

          Detroit added Hossa in the off-season to up an already competitive team to put them back in the drivers seat.The Red Wings should be experienced enough to avoid the Stanley Cup hangover. 

President's Trophy: Detroit Red Wings

Norris Trophy Candidates: Nick Lidstrom, Dion Phanuf, Chris Pronger

Winner: Nick Lidstrom

         The race here will really be between Lidstrom and Phanuf but Lidstrom has a better team and a better line mate than Phanuf.I think this will be his last though

Calder Trophy Candidates: Steven Stamkos, Kyle Turris, Drew Doughty

Winner: Steven Stamkos

The leages next top rookie will start right of the get go. Stamkos can expect some power play time next year.

Hart Trophy Candidates: Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovetchkin, Pavel Datsyuk

Winner: Sidney Crosby

It should be close between Crosby and Ovetchkin but Crosby will come out on top.

Selke Trophy Candidates: Pavel Datsyuk, Henrick Zetterburg, Marion Hossa

Winner: Henrick Zetterburg

Hank will be the best defensive forward out of an all Red Wings line up.
