BCS Rankings Week 4 Projection: No. 6 LSU, Luck Has Nothing to do With It
BCS Rankings Week 4 Projection How They Got Here: The LSU Tigers suffered their first loss of the season to the Auburn Tigers as the two remaining undefeated teams in the SEC went head-to-head. Many critics have refused to give head coach Les Miles enough credit, citing "luck" as the reason for LSU's record.
Why No. 6: As it turns out, luck has little to do with how LSU has been performing this season. The Tigers move up to the No. 6 spot after pulling off the upset over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Les Miles may have taken some risks, but the Tigers' fourth down decisions are part of the reason for their success.
Staying Power: With only one loss and some relatively weak competition down the road, the LSU Tigers have a very good shot at remaining in the top 10.
And if the Auburn Tigers lose to the Crimson Tide at the end of the season, we could see LSU break the top five.
