BCS Rankings Week 4 Projection: No. 25 Florida Gators Making a Comeback
BCS Rankings Week 4 Projection How They Got Here: The Florida Gators seemed to have lost that certain magic that made them...well, the Florida Gators. They had three straight losses to Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State, and they found themselves in unfamiliar territory.
The Florida Gators had fallen out of the top 25.
Why No. 25: After losing three straight, the Gators look like they have pulled themselves together with wins over the desperate Georgia Bulldogs and Vanderbilt. And now Florida is in the running for the top of the SEC East.
Staying Power: The Gators will still have to play the South Carolina GameCocks for a spot in the SEC championship, but moving up in the rankings is definitely doable for Florida.
But they'll have to look out for that powerhouse Appalachian State team. If the Gators lose that one, I will no longer be able to defend them.
