It didn't take much time at all for two of the bigger names to leave for the KHL this summer and make their presence felt closer to home in Russia. Traditional preseason tournament the President's Cup Final saw Jaromir Jagr's Avangard Omsk side facing off against Alexander Radulov's Ufa Salavat.

In a hotly contested final game that saw both teams play to a regulation 2-2 tie, the game was settled in the fourth minute of overtime on a goal by former LA Kings prospect Pavel Rosa to deliver Omsk the victory and the tournament title.

Both Jagr and Radulov contributed on the scoreboard for their respective teams during the round-robin tourney. Radulov had a great game on the second day of the tournament, notching two goals, including the winner over the only non-Russian club involved, HK 36 Skalica of Slovakia.

Also of note: Highly touted NY Rangers prospect Aleksei Cherepanov kicked off the tourney right for Avangard Omsk, tallying a hat trick in superb style to help defeat the Slovakian representative, 6-3.

Radulov was named the top forward of the tourney.
