University of Utah Football: How Far Will Utes Slip in BCS Standings?
University of Utah Football:
The No. 5 Utah Utes fell to the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs in a nasty 47-7 blowout, and yet another undefeated team suffers its first loss.
The Utes were one of three non-BCS teams who had a shot at a national championship, but now Boise State and TCU are the only two standing.
TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for a career high 335 yards and three touchdowns as the Frogs provided the Utes with a severe spanking.
So where does this leave the Utes?
After this beat-down, we have to expect that Utah will slip pretty far in the BCS rankings.
With so many other teams like LSU and Wisconsin winning big today, the Utes are likely to find themselves completely pushed out of the top 10.
Other teams slipping after today?
The No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide after their loss to LSU and the No. 21 Baylor Bears after their loss to Oklahoma State.
