Iowa Football: Hawkeyes Escape Indiana Upset
The Iowa Hawkeyes narrowly escaped defeat at the hands of the Indiana Hoosiers today as a late touchdown pass by Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi saved the day.
Stanzi struggled all day, but he was able to produce in the clutch, leading his team to an 18-13 victory over Indiana.
Indiana hasn't defeated a ranked opponent since 2006, and the Hawkeyes made sure the Hoosiers' dry spell didn't end today.
So did the Hawkeyes just have an off day? Or are the Hoosiers better than we think?
As a Big Ten fan, I always enjoy games like this one because they show off the talent of even the "lesser" teams in the conference.
The Big Ten is shaping up to be one of the most dominant conferences in college football, and after the Nebraska Cornhuskers join the ranks, this conference will be a real force to be reckoned with.
