Penn State Football: Will Wildcats Keep Joe Paterno From 400th Win?
Penn State Football:
Joe Paterno is right on the cusp of earning his Nittany Lions their 400th win under his guidance, but the Northwestern Wildcats won't just hand him that win on a silver platter.
The Wildcats have won six consecutive road games, and they have only two losses so far this season. Northwestern quarterback Dan Persa has been making quite the splash this season in the Big Ten with 19 total touchdowns and only three interceptions.
Paterno himself has said that his Nittany Lions squad is another year away from being a great football team, and he is absolutely correct.
The Wildcats lead the Nittany Lions 14-0 in the second quarter, but this could still be anybody's game.
So will Joe Paterno get win number 400 today against Northwestern?
Or will he have to wait until his Lions play Ohio State, Indiana or Michigan State?
There is plenty of game left, and I'll keep you posted after the half.
