Manchester United has always had a great collection of players, and some have had the luck to be considered amongst the greatest who have ever played the game.

One man who has not had any luck since coming to the illustrious club is Owen Hargreaves.

After being out for over two years with repeated injuries and seeing specialists, he made a very brief appearance at the end of last season but made his genuine return today against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After six minutes of play, he limped off the pitch and went straight down the tunnel.  He was replaced by Portuguese player, Bebe.

I fear for Hargreaves that his career may be over before he had a chance to kick-start it.

I would not be surprised if the former England international and player of the year retired due to repeated injuries.

I mean, how much can the man take before he causes even more serious damage to himself?

It is a sad day for Manchester United and England fans as a very talented player may have made his last ever appearance.
