Philadelphia Eagles: Superstars Wanted!

The current starting wide-outs of undrafted 3rd year veteran Hank Baskett and rookie DeSean Jackson are at best questionable due to their combined limited regular season experience and with Westbrook targeted for many receptions.

Yes the potential is there for breakout seasons from either sideline of the field, but they have yet to subdue the fears of a WR depth chart reminiscing of Thrash, Pinkston, and Mitchell.

The secondary are having questions at the safety positions with the battle for strong safety and the continued injuries of the aging hard hitter Brian Dawkins, let alone the issue of the disgruntled Lito Sheppard.

The horrible special teams play from last year is still very fresh in the minds of Eagles fans, regardless of potential return game entering this season. The multiple fumbles loss in the season opener against Green Bay along with the hobbled leg of kicker David Akers cannot repeat this year.

With all the things going on in Philadelphia, this team will need both the best of Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook along with improved special teams play to return to former glory.
