Manny Pacquiao and Will Ferrell Perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live (VIDEO)
Manny Pacquiao and Will Ferrell performed a fairly impressive rendition of "Imagine" on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night.
Although the performance drew plenty of applause from the studio audience, Freddie Roach was probably less than thrilled to see his fighter focusing his efforts on another pursuit besides boxing.
Roach has criticized Pacquiao's training habits repeatedly in recent weeks, saying his fighter needs to focus on his upcoming bout against Antonio Margarito.
Pacquiao will fight Margarito November 13 at Cowboys Stadium.
With his love of basketball, politics and other pursuits outside the ring providing a constant distraction, Pacquiao's apparent lack of focus could give his overmatched opponent at least a small chance of prevailing.
As for the signing performance, what started out as a serious attempt to perform a classic slowly turned into a comedic showcase.
Ferrell and Pacquiao are certainly an odd pair.
In another subplot to Manny's late-night appearance, Inez Sainz was photographed speaking with the fighter backstage.
Sainz recently joined Top Rank Promotions to help provided coverage of the Pacquiao-Margarito bout.
