Preds will miss Erat on West Coast Swing
You have to love the upper body/lower body injury news that we continue to hear as we progress through another NHL season.
Unfortunately for the Nashville Predators, the M.A.S.H. unit is filling up quickly.
Already gone with a "lower-body" ailment is defenseman Ryan Suter and Matthew Lombardi seems to still be feeling the effect of his "concussion", both don't have a timetable right now for a return.
Now add Martin Erat to the list of walking wounded as he will not travel with the Preds as they take on Phoenix, Los Angeles and Anaheim starting Wednesday night. Erat is suffering from an "upper body" injury and missed the team skate Tuesday.
The Preds are in St. Louis (Nov 11) to end a five game road swing that started last Saturday in Detroit.
Francis Bouillon is likely to make the trip along with Marcel Goc, who has been out with a separated shoulder. Goc appears ready after taking some contact during Mondays practice.
Yesterday the Preds assigned Linus Klasen back to Milwaukee (AHL) leaving speculation of a Bouillon return. Klasen played Saturday night vs. Detroit.
Fox Sports Tennessee returns to DISH network... DIsh network and Fox Networks reach a deal to provide Fox's 19 regional sports channels, amongst others, and will continue to be carried by the satellite company. Fox Sports Tennessee is home to the Nashville Predators - please check your local listing for game times.
Coach Horachek update: Preds assistant coach Peter Horachek who missed Saturdays game in Detroit vs. the Red Wings after he underwent successful prostate cancer surgery this past week. We all wish Coach Horachek a speedy recovery.
Now that Shea Weber is the Preds Captain, look for him and the team to work towards a long term deal, Weber will be a restricted free agent this summer.
