In Monday night's Game 5, the upstart Giants can clinch their first World Series title since the team moved from New York to Northern California following the 1957 season. The franchise last called themselves world champions in 1954, when a 23-year-old outfielder by the name of Willie Mays made a play that would eventually come to be known as "The Catch."
