It should be a very busy Sunday out there before you retreat to take your little munchkins trick-or-treating, or perhaps just hand out the candy to the masses who descend upon your residence.

There is plenty of NFL football to keep you occupied with some key games, including Minnesota squaring off later against New England in a game that will go a long way towards determining the Vikings' playoff future.

Keep an eye on the Brett Favre situation on the field. The embattled quarterback is listed as questionable to play today because of an ankle injury, and Coach Brad Childress says it will be a game-time decision.

If Favre doesn't play, that would be the most notable story on this NFL Sunday. It would snap his 291-game streak of consecutive starts, an NFL record.

Also today, we've got Round 3 of the BCS rankings, Don't expect too much change at the top, with Auburn and Oregon both winning convincingly on the road yesterday.

Game 4 of the World Series will get underway later tonight, with San Francisco facing Texas with a 2-1 lead. It's a pivotal game, with the Giants sending Madison Bumgarner to the mound against Tommy Hunter.
