Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford Throws Four TD's In Win Over 'Skins
Matthew Stafford thew four touchdown passes in his first game back since separating his shoulder in Week 1, and Detroit pulled away from Washington late for a 37-25 win.
Washington led 25-20 in the fourth quarter after a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Brandon Banks, but Detroit scored 17 points in the final 3:12 to pull off the win.
Stafford threw touchdowns of 13, 2, 7, and 10-yards, and hooked up with Calvin Johnson for three of those.
Johnson finished with nine catches for 101 yards.
Ryan Torain was knocked out of the game in the first half for Washington, which limited the running game. Donovan McNabb led Washington with 45 rushing yards and threw for 210 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
