Buccaneers vs. Cardinals: Derek Anderson Replaces Max Hall Bust Still Lose 38-35
The Arizona Cardinals (4-4) made a switch at quarterback from Max Hall over to Derek Anderson, but it wasn't enough today against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) as they still lost 38-35.
Josh Freeman had an excellent game as he posted a 121.8 passer rating, and he was complimented by a remarkable 120 yards and 2 touchdowns from undrafted rookie free agent LeGarrette Blount. Moreover, rookie wideout Mike Williams punched in his first 100+ yard game of his career.
On the flip side, their defense was rather soft today, especially defending the pass as they allowed 296 yards through the air and let Steve Breaston run free for 147 yards.
Nonetheless, the Buccaneers continued to display their grittiness as they pulled out a victory.
